


CANSEC
CANSEC is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored annual regional security forum to encourage defense and security leaders to strengthen ties of cooperation, discuss regional issues, examine challenges, share lessons learned, and explore ways to improve cooperation on security matters. This year's CANSEC 2023 will be held in June 5-10 and is co-hosted by the Jamaica Defence Force and SOUTHCOM.

The Caribbean Nations Security Conference (CANSEC) is an annual U.S. Southern Command-sponsored forum that allows defense and public-security leaders from participating nations to strengthen ties, discuss regional issues, examine challenges, share successes and lessons learned, and explore ways to enhance security cooperation and build on prior successes.
